I had a Desert Eagle similar to the one pictured and IT actually had jamming problems.I traded it in for a H&K P7.

I had the .44mag and it did the same thing thats why I got rid of it (along with the weight) and went with the baby eagle.. Had the same issue with jamming on the baby eagle though. Both made for movies if you ask me..

I have thought about picking up both myself...thankfully after reading this-I believe I shall pass....

I would pass for sure. A jammed 7 pound magnum handgun is just wrong in every way.. The baby eagle jammed even worse (even with expensive ammo) but like I said on the last page it was an awesome gun if it didn't have the jamming issue. If I had enough cash I would try another baby eagle.

Can one provide more info on the to what was actually causeing the jamming issue's

could it have been fixed by custom gunsmith?

Well I bought mine used so I chalked it up to the previous owner probably abusing it but JK had the same problems with his....The baby eagle does have a good trigger feel though.I had one of those also.
