Well they sell it because it sells... Have to agree with the policy on not letting it on their range though. Don't get me wrong I actually own one myself so it is nothing against the gun. It is however easy to lose control of and not too many really know how to handle one. This combination of problems is a range officers nightmare. We are there to make sure that all is safe and an inherently unsafe weapon in the hands of just anyone is a scary proposition.
Really I'm very well trained and have had range officers come up to me and tell me that under no circumstance am I to fire one of my AKMS types without the stock extended. This is my only joy with the M70AB2 as I hate those uncomfortable, short and rather useless under-folders. Just best not to argue though as it is their range and they make the rules.
Just came across this great thread! FYI....Zombie count is very low way down here in South Texas, always has been cause everybody has a good collection in the safe and a loaded one under the pillow!
