wassup mfk, i brought my 2 p-bass to a lfs to make room for temensis it was my last resort cause i tried to find em a home on my own today i called there and the guy said they BOTH died and he cant give me anything for them he seems like the type of scumbag that would lie about something like this what should i do? i paid $60 for the pair my old self is tellin me to wait for him in the parking lot and whoop fire out his @$$

yeah im not gonna do anything stupid it just pisses me off thinking bout it when brought them to him he just dumped them in the tank they went straight to bottom gasping i told him that he shoulve done it more slowly and today when i called him i asked if he had a heater on the tank he said no i think hes just trying to rip me off

Well, what I bet he did was sell them. He's a merchant, so according to the law, he can sell them to anybody who comes along and buys them at a fair price, but i think your supposed to be compensated.

This should be a warning to anybody who has a lfs hold anything for them. Not because you don't necessarily trust them, but because somebody might come along and make an offer for that fish.
at our store they always spend a min. of a week in quarantine is this not common? it should be... we do take trades and we always give credit on the spot and will not take a fish that we think may not be in perfect health or will take it on donation and if we can turn it around then we will give the individual credit...
