If all the fish are out of breath on the surface may not be enough oxygen in the tank. The lack of oxygen may be caused by poor circulation. It can also be high in ammonia from fish waste, because of overcrowding in the tank.

Wrong thread? I almost did that once :)

Man, when my young cousins were staying for the week, I was terrified of them getting injured lol. We had a "don't touch this" tour of the fishroom; electric eel, two lungfish, snapping turtles and a caiman. I put a lock on the caiman cage too.

With the young ones I would do the same thing. I am more worried about the knuckle heads that should know better. My house is the fish room, so I can't just lock the door. If someone takes a bite from an eel or is stung by the Lion and is allergic and goes into anaphylactic shock I want to be able to point to the warning sign before I poke them in the eye for being stupid.

I have this one on my goldfish tank.
i have this but its just says beware of attack fish. its on the gar tank. I also got one that says beware of attack mother-in-law.

I plan on putting a lock on my caiman enclosure as well. I want to get the sign that says beware if fall doesnt kill you the croc will and put them on my basement windows.

cool idea ! also I want to correct that caiman is Alligator not crocodile!
may be I should get a sign that say "pet my piranhas!"

Crocadillians is all the croc family. Alligator is sub family. It contains only 2 species. Chinese and american alligator.

Crocodile, caiman and alligator are all separate. Nice try though
