Once you know...your sure to look before you throw...i will definitly look over every filter from here on out to make sure.. it is common for it to happen..but it is not common for someone cleaning to look ..... so everyone if your wondering what happened to all those babies your female was holding.. make sure to look in the filter or sump before you clean it out.. you may save only a couple but those few are your gift... and you could be really lucky and find them all...

Filter babies... haha that's crazy.
 
I don't get babies in my filters.... I get fish that make it from one tank to another. I have goldie feeders that made it through the Barracuda pump to get away from the Pbass. I also had some venturesome calvus that made it to my Saulosi tank. LOL
