Thanks Deangelo....I gave a warning to everyone b4 they even watched the vid. Yes the wolf did not kill it right away or pierce its fur from what I could tell. Yeah I have seen alot of vids on Youtube of Aros eating mice and the Aro's are all rather large. This wolf was only 14in so maybe the mouse was to large for him to dispatch quickly, who knows he could have been capable of killing it quickly...but predatory animals also eat with intentions of eating again, meaning he waited until he felt the best moment to pull the rat/mouse down, so he would not get injured in the process.

Upon clicking the link, I get a Runtime error, but the video still plays.

That mouse went out like a soldier.

i like the part where the rat's survival instinct to keep his head up and gasp for air kicks in but the wolf is like heck no beach then the rat slowly falls into the water peacefully and gets swallowed.:headbang2

Great video man, I personally don't think there is anything wrong with feeding it mice or rats. Like stated by another member they are bred for as feeders.

All those who are whining...

DID YOU READ THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD?

He even said that there was a live feeding too; so some of you still go ahead a watch it anyways, and then complain . . .

I don't like that the mouse suffered, but considering that plenty of things die on a daily basis an humans are capable of far worse, the main querie I have is whether or not it would have been better to feed a frozen one for the sake of water quality.

How do they kill feeder mice for petstores, anyways?
