Washington Area Cichlid Club first meeting!

Big thanks to Mel for putting it on at his house. We had a decent turn out of 13 for the Washington Area Cichlid Club.

First off, some of the fish from the smaller tanks.

istlanum

ornatum (very hard to photograph, quite skittish and right next to the dryer, as you can see in the reflection)

Large male festae (tank has lots of tannins)

Don't remember what these are. Herichthys of some sort.

Yellow lab

The dovii pair in their own 600 gallon

Trying to show how large this fish is

Male umbee in the 1000gallon tank. Also a female umbee and a female pantostictus in the tank (that's it!)

For sure! You know how I love cichlids. Trying to boost some interest with these photos.

There is another 600 in there, and 5 or 6 tanks that are around 180 gallons too.

My camera is a Nikon D60.
