I could probably make the lfs meet. Not sure about the September trip yet.

Same here, I'm just worried about school getting in the way. It really depends on weaht day in September it is though.

I'm in Bremerton, so no more than a couple hours from a lot of you. I only know one dude that keeps fish, and he doesn't have a clue, so it would be nice to meet some people that are into the hobby.
I have a place on Lake Sawyer, by Black Diamond east of Auburn. Maybe I can set up a meet there. Fishing in the morning, BBQ and beers in the afternoon, and more fishing in the evening. Let me think on it.

thats like 10 min. from my house! a lfs meet would be cool as well, as im always searchin for a new fish, and hearing other MFKers experiences with fish is always great.

So... We really need to set this up! I think it would be best to do it on a saturday as most people dont work on the weekends.

:nilly:
My days off are Sunday and Monday, lol......

Edit:
I may be able to caox someone to take my place though, possibly trade work days. But not sure, will see when an exact date is set.

Aww man. Sick Day?

But we really need to get this set-up. I'll probably be hitching a ride with Caveman(Frank?) if all go's as palnned.

We should say our names in our posts! I'm Brian by the way.

I'm up for it, besides going to some LFS' I need someone to go Bass fishing with this summer.

I'm in Aberdeen, Pretty close to Caveman as he's in Hoquiam.

I may be in the area this weekend. Well driving through.....I maybe headed to ocean shores. Kinda depends on my wife though. She is due with our first baby girl TOMORROW!!!!! So if she has not progressed any further then she is now, our doc is going to give us the go ahead to go down there. (she is going to be late.)

Plumber.......my parents live on Lake Sawyer and I live about 4 minutes away. That may be a fun time....especially if its a nice day. Do a little swimming.

And I'm Jeff

Nice to meet you Jeff.

And Derpeder, I wish you luck on your first child, that would be kind of cool if it was born on your bithday!

Any updates Wyld?

I'm 15 minutes from Lake Sawyer, but am willing to drive a bit though the fishing and beer sounds excellent. I'm actually in Enumclaw.

I will dominate you all at trout fishing, be it west side or east side. Potholes would be nice once it's not snake and tick season.

Well, first I'd like to see about getting a behind the scenes tour of either of the two major aquariums in the area. I'll talk to those guys over there this week, and see what I can get setup. Other than that, lets get a list of aquarium shops together for the meet that we like, and we can thin it down to a choice few. I personally would like for you guys to hit up Extreme Marine, but they are primarily a SW shop (I worked here for a while, and the guys know SW, and are willing to bring in some great stuff for FW, I'll talk to the owners and see if they would be down with it, and see if they will beef up before the meet). A second choice would be to drop by Aquarium Paradise in Tacoma (they custom build acrylic tanks, and we might be able to check out some of their building stuff) and they have a good selection of both FW and SW stuff.
