Washington, or NW meet(s) discussion

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey Wyld,
I can set up a time to go to Little Amazon in North Seattle ( my LFS of choice) He has arowana, stingray RTC, Pimas, etc. plus some of the nicest discus around.

Oh man! The meet is sounding better with every post. I hope I can arange to get my tank soon! Hopefully before the meet so I can get some fish then. Still cant decide wether to get a Dovii, or a Jardini. :nilly:

In regards to the P. splendida, I'd like to get a pair so depending on price 4-6 fish.

I have a 71' Chevy with an 8' bed...but it gets 8mpg. No good for extended driving. Recently had to "upgrade" to a Ford Escort...38mpg.

Being in between Olympia and Seattle....the only store I'd really reccomend is A Place For Pets in Burien. Cichild heaven. The Kent and Renton Fish Galleries have really gone downhill the last year, and Sumners Tropical Fish World just carries vanilla guys mainly...

Anyone want a 8" Polypterus bichir? He's having trouble getting enough food in my cichlid grow out tank. He's two years old and eats everything, including pellets.

Is the Bichir free? What kind is it? I'm assuming Senegal? I'm really tempted to take it but the only tank set-up right now is the 55 with africans and theres no room in there, and the 35 with breeding cons would be to risky.

And like you said, 8mpg wouldnt be to good!

Frank hasnt pmed me back yet so I dont know if the tank and stand will fit in the truck he has available, but hopefully it will!

Yeah, I'd be down for grabbing the bichir.

If I had the tankspace, if would be mine Wyld.

Also, Wyld, sometime before the meet We need to arange for you to talk to my mom she's still worried Haha.. ;)

Ah...yeah. Meant to put that it's a sengal. Really freaking tired.

And yeah, it's free. Just need to get him a home where he can get food.

I'd take it, but I'm just really afraid of my cons harming it. The cons have already killed a T-barb.
