Another thing I could do to help the tank cycle faster is I could add all of the baby cons I have to the tank. And I have ALOT of baby cons.

Hopefully the tank even fits in Franks truck, still waiting on that info.

I cannot wait for the meet, It will be great to meet you guys.

Why cycle the tank? Why not put in a lot of fast growing plants? My last tank I never did cycle, just heavily planted, added all my fish, and never saw any ammonia or nitrite.

Just seed the tank with some filter media that already has bacteria on it...completey skips the cycling process. I haven't cycled a tank in, oh, 5 years?

I can give you a sponge from one of my AC500's (110's now?) if you really need...

A little bit of an update, been talking to Ted and he said he migh be able to deliver the tank, along with a heater, and possibly some fish!

One 5G-Betta... It was my moms idea...
35G-Cons and fry
55G-African Cichlids, One 11'' pleco, and one 6'' pleco.

Figured I'd throw this out there. Not my tank, but it's a 125 with stand, canopy, and wet/dry for $250 in Bonney Lake. If I wasn't broke as hell I'd jump on it.

So, I'll be going for sure. I'm driving from Enumclaw, and wouldn't mind carpooling to save on gas. I've got a great commuter car if anyone wants to hop a ride.

I was also thinking of taking a couple of my plastic bins with ~10 gallons of well water in each in the trunk if people want to get fish early on but are worried about them being in bags all day. It would be easy enough to put them in bins with sponge filters (I have a spare filter, but no battery operated pump?) for the day and then re-bag them at the end of the trip. Larger fish in one bin, smaller in another.

Let me know what you all think. I stand by A Place For Pets being a stop.

Hey, Thats a great Idea about the bins! Frank hasnt been on MFK for a while, so I havent been able to keep in-touch with him. I could probably bring some rubbermaids along as well.

If I get my tank before the meet I will probably be getting a few Polypterus at extreme marine.
