  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hear ya ! I hate to carry anything GLASS let alone a 180 !!!

Glass sucks. Just getting the 55G, and 35 into the house was a hassle, the way my house is set-up is a little crazy, We had to carry it through the kitchen, around two very sharp corners, then into the living room.

But I'm probabvly going to get a 120 wide, and hopefully its acrylic! I've got a pretty cool stocking idea already.

Yea when i got my 1st acrylic i had no idea how light it was. (100gl) i asked the guy to help carry it and he told me you can do it yourself, it's not glass. I had no idea they were that light. I'll never go glass again. Well maybe never say never but i'll put up a fight.

But He's FAR. I doubt he wants to deliver the tank, I have already caused him enough trouble with all the 180 madness.

I personally don't do acrylic often. I prefer glass, and I especially prefer starphire glass. My 135 weighs in at a dainty 250 lbs.

OUCH!!! Wouldn't want to carry that baby too far, especally if it has gravel or even an ounce of water!!

Me an my buddy lifted it by ourselves. The two of us aren't that big, but it wasn't bad at all. Just gotta be smarter than the tank.

I hear ya! I'll have to get used to that once i upgrade again. Going to atleast a 180, and 9 times out of 10 i won't be able to afford a 180acrylic. I'm going to buy a Jardidni (small one) and grow him up in my 100 and then when i have the cash i'm going to go for a big boy tank!
