my tank is oh so empty:cry: only 4 fish in it now, had to make room for the meet!:headbang2

And those Silver Dollars looked so cool, lol. ;)

Silver dollars are all mine. We'll see how they do. My V. zonatus has been alone by herself after she killed off all her tankmates. Few nips so far, nothing major.

I can give you a ride from Extreme Marine up to Seattle WyldFya, but I don't think I want to drive back down to Olympia, as I'd like to go straight to Enumclaw after Seattle. Whatever needs to happen I guess.

Well, the Dojo , AKA "Whiskers" is a riot! He does exactly what you said, plays dead then zooms all over the place gobbling everything i sight! I love him.

Thanks to Lonebluewolf for bringing him over the mtns.-btw is the fire smoke really thick in Wenatchee??? I have about 500 yards of visibility, it looks almost like it's late evening. I guess it's from the Lake Chelan fire but it really is something, my eyes are burning from the smoke!!!! They're up to a level 3 evacuation, so the Bass fishin' is going to have to wait! I always wondered how many fish the helicopters get when they dip the buckets in the water!!

Guess it's good that the get together is in Western WA this time, cause it would have been ruined by the fire. Ho Hum, just another triple digit firestorm!!!!!

Yes, the smoke has been bad here. If you only have 500yds visibility, then it's more smokey over there in Cashmere, lol. But it's pretty smokey here. The fire is up at Domke Lake.

Domke Lake Complex (Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forest): 2,550 acres at 10 percent contained. This complex is 36 miles northwest of Chelan. Communities of Lucerne and Holden Village are threatened. Evacuations are in effect.

Well, I can't go myself. Just too much going on at work with another guy on vacation. Would have loved to go.

Mei, you going to be joining the group????
Sorry! No, I'm having family flying in from Overseas so there goes my fishy trip. Otherwise I was gonna hit Westport,, get the shark pics my self so everyone will actually believe it's real, spend a nite in my loft listening to the waves hit the beach all night then fishy field trip on the way back home.

Oh well, maybe next time we can do a Columbia River Bass Fishing, Salmon Hatchery visiting, etc. There's even Bighorn sheep at the fishin hole!

This place is one fire again, Real bad, so it's time to hunker down and keep it very wet around here!

Take pics, I really an disappointed that I'm missing out on this. Next time hopefully I'll go wherever it is and I have a toyota 4x4 and a larger truck if anyone needs to carpool.

Have a wonderful time, and then do the same for me!! Great job, this will be neat for you. At least I got to meet Lonebluewolf AKA "Wolfman" and he brought back a Dojo loach for me from his westside visit, so I still got an AWESOME new fish!! I LOVE Dojo's, they are hysterical.

Peace Out may you all have a safe trip, remember the I-5 mess SB construction, although they may not work tomorrow or SAT-

Thanks for checkin
Mei

I heard 4000 acres 2 days ago, 10% control, level 3 evacs all the way. I was canoeing the entire Lake up and back and got caught in the fire where the 3 smokejumpers were killed, I think that was the Fischer (?) Creek, really wild.

The winds are really strong in the mountains tonight, that's going to make that fire spread so fast, it's going to be bad. At least it's cleared up her for now! I hate this part of Summer. Back to the firetower!
Thanks again, I love the Dojo, he wrapped around the dial on the top of the tank heater and turned it up to 83.7 degrees. I pulled out a couple buckets and put some cooler water in, poor things! His name is "Whiskers".

On the drive last night I could see flames outside of Othello.
Yeah, we were planning a fishing trip to Domke Lake via the pontoon plane out of Chelan then they pick you up when ever you want-It's ALL black, everywhere, there's no where left between last year and this year. It's nerve racking to live in the high danger zones, our road is closed for the summer, The sheriff or fire dept. will man it at the oddest hours.

I feel so sorry for the animals, afterwards, there's loads of confused, lost animals-the birds and snakes especially. But that extreme heat is needed to open the Lodgepole Pine cones and reseed, so good comes out of it in the long run. I won't build a house here in these canyons, it's just a matter or "when" not "if" this canyon goes up, all of the neighboring one's are already burned.

I like winter better anyway, I love snow!!
