After losing a 50cm Mangrove jack.... then having a dovii go spaz and kill a heap of other big tankbuster I have been enjoying a saltwater predator.

This is my second octopus, the last I had for just over 6 months and it got big. This one is doing much better.
I like this pet hey. Not only does he hunt well but he watches tv and us.
things going on in it's head. Not sure if smart is the right word but yea they figure strange things out... like how to squirt water into a computer tower or how to trash a powerhead and use it to clear sand away. Swear they get bored and try get a rise outta ya. WOrst is when they are hungry and no live food in the tank. They get grumpy. High metabolism so need regular feeding.
One day I'll have something big.
