hahaha nice responses. the thing is that EVERYONE in malaysia goes for reds, well most people cause they say it brings good luck or wtv. but after seeing a few fully grown golden crossbacks...ive been quite open to golds. a bit like the 2nd post on this thread. amazing fish.

ooooo i guess ure either talking about a blood red or a violet fusion super red. i have to agree with you cause although the chili red (orangy red) seems to be the most prized, i do prefer deeper reds

i just got a custom permanent tank built against a wall which is 7 feet by 2.5feet by 3 feet. i also have a pond that i cud release the fish in if they get too large. ill post pics in 3 weeks wen i come home.
