From my search there is no REAL freshwater sharks the only thing close is a bull shark, the bull shark is a salt water, but can survive in fresh. I really don't think a real shark has any place in a home tank unles syou have one of the 20K gallon or bigger. It's not fair to put a 7 foot fish in a 12'x12'x12
