wat kinnd off catfish for my cichlid tank?

Just to make it clear, i dont feed live fish because there is no need for it.


I feed mine lancefish mainly and then pieces of prawn, muscle, welks, crabsticks and a little bloodworm.

those limas will grow quick the first couple of months you have them! mine both grew from 3 inches when i first got them to around 8 inches 3 months later. They eat like champs and mine even try to eat fish bigger than themselves. I have a goldfish the same length as them but like 4 times as thick and they try to eat him, with no luck. If it looks like the fish is too big for them to swallow, just remember that their mouths ope to about 2-3 times as big as they look closed. You might be safe for a couple of months though!
 
oh, and for feeding them i feed mine krill and pieces of cooked shrimp. every now and again I will qaurantine some feeders for a couple of weeks and after they have a good bill of health I will stick some in there for them to hunt! They will do just fine on a varied diet of meaty foods though. They also take cichlid pellets from the top!
