My 8" aro got me once. He jumped out of the water, latched on for a moment, realized it wasn't food, and immediately let go. No more hand feeding as he has gotten very aggressive and I don't need an adult aro leaping out of the water at my hand.

nah no marks. my finger wasn't that deep in his mouth.

my sunfish do this too, but I can't feel the teeth

exactly why no one should ever hand feed there fishys Im in my tanks allot and try to disasociate my hands with food as much as possible. i shake my canisters in front of the tank when i feed. So unless they see that they know it isnt lunch time. lol
