okay,, im a lil bit worried right now.... i went to a local lake fishing and found a beautiful piece of tree root that was submerged in the water so i cut it off for drift wood for my 180gal... procedures i did before put in my tank was: i quarintined it, soaked it in hot water for about a week, constant water changes... and water wasnt amber anymore so its finally in my tank!
earlier today i was lookin at my fish and tank, i noticed on my root stump.. where i cut, theres a clear white film on it... almost simular to when you have a dead fish in your tank and that film coated clear stuff bacteria... watevers it may be... is happening on the places where i cut... so i hope you guys understand what im talkin about, so that you MFK'rs can give me as much advice i need to take care of this problem?? please i need all the advice i need in order to keep these pieces intact.... thanx...
