its just advice. wood might leach out forever,im no expert.
im thinking of adding my log after many months but im still a bit worried about it leaching stuff.
and all wood is different.and no clue how long it was soaking already.ya know?

Ya right, so what if "seemingly harmless" is actually harmful and kills your fish. You can always just buy more

i think it might be sap since i noticed it comming out of knots and cut places on the wood
