watching river monsters on animal planet

Eh I mostly watch to see all the red tail cats they catch and dream of having one someday.

I whine about red tails a lot perhaps I should explain why. lol

When I was new to the hobby I did not know any better and I bought Rosie red feeders for my Dempsey and bichirs to "hunt". Well those Rosie reds grew fast and actually started bullying my other fish. So I bagged em up and took em to the store I was trading my electric blue crayfish to for equipment. They were primarily a reptile store and had a lot of awesome stock (two full grown monitor lizards, Alligator snappers ect). So I asked the owner if he could do anything with them. He walked over to what appeared to be an empty 75g and dumped them in.

Instantly the plants in the center of the tank exploded as an 8 inch red tailed cat swallowed the first two whole one after the other. I am not a big live feeder guy at this point but after watching him I fell in love instantly.
