Thats exactly how mine looks. He even changes colors, from black, to like light yellowish and black stripes, to this color. But I thought they only get about foot and a half to 2 ft, foot and a half most likely. I dont think this particular perch species gets giant like the others.

Is fish fillet all your ever think about? Fish that you keep is like an extended family member or friend therefore you cannot eat them. Morally, it's wrong!!! If I hit the lotto I'm going to fillet my platinum senegal with lemon pepper just to see what it tastes like.

Nice perch Ben. If I knew they looked that nice I would've picked up a one or two at the meet.
