Yeah I do about 20-30% water changes daily, I can miss a day or two, but I do notice my fish growing a bit faster. I dont know how exactly it makes the fish get bigger, my opinion is that the water changes might make their appetite healthier. And the fish seem to love new water as sometimes they play near the hose when I add water.

I do 50% water changes 4x-5x/week and my fish all grow like weeds. The theory that it stresses the fish out or causes any negative side effects is bunk in my opinion. My rays scarfed down 2 dozen night crawlers while I changed the water today.
our tap water is really bad, so we run through alot of water conditioner too. i have a 50 gal trash can (clean) with about a pound of gravel that came from an established tank, in the bottom, it also has a small filter that has run in an established tank for awhile, i fill the can add salt, and conditioner, lower the ph and let it sit for three days with the filter running before i use it, i also have a smaller bucket done the same way but with a heater for my discus and angels, the other tanks can handle room temp water and the discus tank also has different water parameters. i generally do changes every other week but i think i will try weekly for a little while and see what happens.
I change anywhere from 50% to 90% of my water in all my tanks 2x a day. Granted, I have discus and I stock the tanks VERY heavily, but it gets me the best growth and health. I average 1" growth per month easily. Fish are always eating, always up front of the tank begging for food. Never have a problem with disease or anything.

However, keep in mind, if you put an oscar in a 20gal and do water changes of 20% every other day with power feeding, its still not gonna have a prolonged growth sprout. The larger the tank, the quicker the growth. My fish in my 300gal grow MUCH faster than my fish in the 75...same types of fish...same batch of fry. Same foods and same amounts of water changes. Larger tankz mean larger capabilites of dissolved solids...the less there is in the tank, the faster the fish will grown. Plus the growing space helps a lot.

How do you mixed the Cloram-X w/ water. Does it have to be distilled water? What container do you use and how much to use before dumping to the tank?
Im very interested on this, Im a firm believer on Stress coat, just ordered (5) 1 gallons again, and w/ all my tanks and 75%-80% weekly waterchanges. My conditioner does not last very long. If you can give me more info, I might just switch to this product, from stress coat.
