Water Change Regimines?

50+% a week usually. It slips at times, but I try to do this. I've always thought almost everyone does 50%. Everyone recommends it but the poll shows show something different. 30% would do nothing on my tanks, lol.

about 30-50% total each month, not counting gravel cleaning, but thats for the 240g tank.
I do 30% throughout a week for the 125g.

Maybe my tank is overstocked. Meh, at least it's an interesting tank.

30~40 gal. per day on my 240 gal.

If possible,this is the best way to go!!

I do about 10% every 2 weeks on my 90, only because its stocked so lightly right now. But my other tanks get a 20% change every week.

Water changes for me are based on the amount of nitrate in my water. I feed heavily so it tends to build up. Ill do a quick calculation and change out however much I need to keep nitrates below 40 ppm

You have Rays huh? From what i've gathered Ray Keepers keep Crystal Clear/Clean Tanks

It depends on whats in the tank and what the goals are for those inhabitants. I have a jag in a 90gal that gets a wc once a month. The tank has 2 magnum 350 canisters on it and the bioload is minimal. My Pbass tanks get 50%-70% at a min once a week to maximize growth potential and because of thier high bio-output. I have a polleni in a 55 by its self with a good amount of filtration and it gets a wc about every 2 weeks.

Ther are many factors that go into wc schedule IMO.

i do 70% on all my tanks once a week,keeps my nitrates below 10 and makes my fish grow at a good rate.
