I don't think we have those down here lol but I'll definately go check it out.

Thanks to everybody for helping me out!

I cheat, I siphon the water out my window. To fill I take the shower head off and put on a garden hose, turn on the water and fill the tank. All I have to do is roll up 25' of hose when Im done :)

Wait, are we the only ones who think Bichirs in brackish water sounds a little fishy?

(pun intended :D)

Well it's a little salty, I've been using that Freshwater Aquarium Salt stuff for a while now to avoid any problems. However I think the fin rot I recently had is coming back to haunt me. :(

I asked about the water change mainly because of that. My Pleco had it a few weeks ago but he's fine now. What sucks now is that my Albino Bichir has some and I'm trying to fix it.

Alright, as long as you know that bichirs are fw. Aquarium salt don't make the tank brackish, Marine salt does. Good luck with the bichirs!

Lol of course geez. Sorry about that I guess I just didn't understand what it really meant. This tank is my first major tank with the hobby. Thanks again!
