It greatly depends on the tank. My larger tanks get around 25% minimum weekly, sometimes more. My smaller tanks get 25-40% weekly.

Nah. Just lucky to have naturally soft low pH water, and very very little chlormines in the water, if any.

I drain my 150g 1/3 of the way down twice a week... theres a 65g sump underneth it.

My Discus tank get 33% every other day. My African tank get 30% twice a week. My growout tank get 50% just about everyday.
