Quick question everyone, what is the best way to do a water change for a 30g with a Tetra 40g whisper filter? Is there an article or thread that has great instructions for this type of setup?

Throwback filter but it still does a great!

I'm lost. Take some out, put some back in, add prime.

i'm not sure there is a specific method for water changes for a specific filter and tank. is that what you're asking? you need to buy a PYTHON and change your water like most of us do.

Well, my preferred method is to remove the old water BEFORE adding the new water.

It'll work the other way too, just add new water and the old water will pretty much move itself:thumbsup:

Ha exactly.

Unplug the filter before you do so, and fill it up with water and plug back in afterwards..

Good one, hahahaha...............back to topic. I meant, in terms of methods used, what's the best way? Some ppl add new water directly into their tank then add condition and others "age" their water.
