I usually like to do water changes after feeding my fish, but i've read somewhere that water changes after feeding might cause harm to the fish? it might shock the fish? any experience /opinions on this? i have since stopped doing water changes immediately after feeding. but I'm tempted to do water changes immediately after feeding.

Stick to what you did. Water changes should not hurt your fish in any way especially if they are already accustomed to your rigorous maintenance. In some cases, the only reason this happens is because most folks do not do water changes consistently at all so naturally, the fish fail to adapt quickly to the changing environment.

I think water changes where the fish is harmed because of shock would happen regardless of before/after feeding. It was probably a coincident in that case

no worries, continue as you have been doing . . . if your fish are "shocked" after a w/c, then you are doing it wrong :)

thanks :) because i;ve read some post with asian aros they sometimes vomit after a a water change when just finished eating

i normally feed after, but mostly because waterchange day is also give the fish a treat day.
and it's easier to defrost, *catch live cricket/fish*, whatever after the waterchange, and then chuck it in :)
