water changes in crutches

I would only recommend the splint, but (you didn't hear this from me) lose the crutches. The splint is reconstructing your growth plate and with too much orbital movement in your ankle, all reconstruction attempts can fail. Walking on it, without crutches, although may hinder your injury slightly, isn't entirely necessary. Thats just my opinion though. I'm sure many medical experts are waiting to bash me for this comment....

well mom, this guy online said i could...... jk well i would but my splint is bent into like a 120 * angle, which it probably should be at 90, so i have to extend my leg flat out to stand flat on it, id have to walk on my toes to walk properly.

Jeez. I've never heard of that. I'm lifeguard certified (Red Cross ;CPR, AED, first aid & safety course, and lifeguard training) and have gone extensively into fractures. Most commonly, it's recommended that the bone is (although very painfully) relocated to its most natural position. Otherwise the bone could fuse your growth plate into your talus or fibula. Also, if youre not fully grown (under 18 usually) it could stunt the growth in your right leg by as much as 1/2"
