I have been doing a 75% water change twice a week now for about 3 months now, which is down from the 90% I used to do 3 times a week. The reason I went down to twice a week is because my m.m. get really moody and stressed every time I do a water change. My female barry's herself for the rest of the day every time and want come out until late at night or the next morning to eat, and my male stays stressed for a couple hours and then is at the glass begging for food as if nothing was ever wrong. Discus love the water changes and don't get stressed at all during changes , they are attacking my hand the whole time while I am vacuuming the gravel. Just for reference as well, I have been buying the 6 dollar bags of frozen seafood from Walmart and this is a very cheap affordable way to feed, and I only go through two bags a month. The only thing that I find they like more then the frozen seafood is live black worms, and they are expensive. Anyways, do you guys deal with any stress with your rays while doing water changes?
