The ammonia has to be converted into something. Unless you have plants it's not going to disappear. Even at that I doubt it it's really prepared for the bio load of an arowana when it was cycled using 3 small guppies. You'll probably have another ammonia spike.

yep your right ill watch for that , can the arowana wistand a spike if Ammonia?

A small one will not do very well in that condition. They're pretty delicate when they're small IME.

If you add sludge from a cycled filter you'll probably be ok. Good idea.

no, i dont have any trusted source of sludge , my other tank is salt water, im doing some testing as we speak
