You have a very good maintenance schedule. Just make sure that if you have bio-media that you rinse it out in the aquarium water that you collect in a bucket. If you are in this long term get yourself an Eheim 2260 or 2262 classic filter. They are costly and can be purchased at BigAlsonline. If that is too steep than get an FX5.

thanks for the heads up, do you know if they charge shipping for items over $200. That sounds like a great price my ehiem 2215 was $130 for 90 bucks more you get a filter three times better.

Forget the eheim pro. Get FX5 or the eheim classic series
