Water changes?

does it dissolve pretty easily?

At first I would just dump it in the tank, but I noticed that sometimes it would clump together; as it would fall, the fish would try to eat it.

So what I do now is...

1. Fill a big plastic cup with water
2. Add Safe to the cup of water
3. Dump cup of water into another cup
4. Dump water from one cup to the other (back and forth) until the powder is fully dissolved.
5. Dump cup into tank.

None of the fish that have tried to eat the safe seem to have suffered any adverse affects, but I can't imagine it was good for them. When I add it to the tank, it has a very distinct pungent smell and I try to avoid inhaling any of it myself, but I'm sure I inhale a little (it's a very fine powder).

ROFL, now that my friend was an awesome reference. I connect my hose to either the hallway bathroom sink or laundry sink (I have multiple tanks) by installing a adapter like the ones used to install garabage disposals. I use an adapter that accommodates a water hose. I run the water till I get the temp I want, then I fill. I don't treat my water anymore cause I live on a rain water catchment system, but when I used to have county water, I treated my entire aquarium with doses relative to gallons. Never had a problem than.
