Water Changes

Yeah I knew the prime was a must, and I'm glad I started the hobby I've been an avid fisherman sense I was a little one. Who knew it would be just as much fun watching them as fishing for them.

Also one more question as in adding my new water in should I add the prime per bucket as I'm filling it or is it ok if I fill the tank back up and then add it.

I've seen people do it both ways with no problem. The prime eliminates chlorine and chloramine instantly but it has to be dispersed in the water enough to contact it so i feel adding prime to the new water first is best. Having said that i usually poor the water straight into my tank and add prime as its going in

excuse my ignorance but what is "trolling" exactly? i hear my 2 stepsons say it constantly and i know they are not talking about the method of fishing... LOL i feel old
