Water Changes

How often do you guys do water changes. The pet store told me once a week but I think thats way to much. I also have this brown alge problem.

I do water changes of atleast 50% once a week religiously, and I have 7 tanks. remember in the wild there would tens of thousands of water. A weekly waterchange routine and good filtration will go a long way towards helping your fish.

once a week on my usual viewing tanks about 30 - 35% .2 - sometimes 3 times a week on my feeder tank.
