water clarity

i would say that your problem is your filtration, i don't think that 2 whisper 70's is enough i would recomend that you invest in a canister filter. doing that will solve your problem IMO.

I have a 8 inch air stone at the back of the tank my nitrates are at 0.

Well, seeing as you said you've changed your filter pads and your nitrates are at 0 (which is kind of a bad sign since if your tank is cycled it should have a measurable nitrate level.) I would say your tank is having a minicycle or is not yet done fully cycling.

those filters are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too small for your tank. you should look into picking up a couple of AC110s, or a good cannister. make sure its rated for your tank size
Could you suggest a good canister filter for a 125 gallon?I have had live breeders forever and just moved up to oscars and aro's and need all the help i can get .the biggest tank i have owned before this 125 is a 55 gallon.

i agree with fx5 if you want to go cheaper you can go with an xp4 but deff not the same level of filtration.
