Water Conditioners.

You have a filter right? I really dont see the point of conditioners for turtles. I can see it for fish, though. People keep turtles in the murkiest ponds imaginable and yet turtles thrive and breed without it. Ever seen Loggerhead Acres?

...come on, you should know this..i even know this.
chlorine/ammonia/nitrite is not good for turtles.
and i also have some feeders in there to so..

natural ponds don't need filters..even though the water is murky, the ammonia level is very close to zero..

and said ponds before that.. normal ponds..dirty but the bio filtration must be working..i've seen fish like koi in DIRTY non-natural ponds with turtles..


so who else uses fish products on turtles?
i will be getting prime
 
Murky does not mean its dirty. Theres a big difference. You can be clean and murky or dirty but clear.
 
remember that prime is very concentrated.. so you dont need to use much..just follow the directions on the bottle
 
i still don't get what concentrated means...

water conditioner for fish will not harm a turtle

ive used amquel on my red ear sliders back in day with absolutely no issues
