water dragon coming along

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You NEED a tepurature guage under the hot part of the tank and on the other side of the tank. You also NEED a humidity guage. This is all basic cheap things. Well this animal shouldnt have its mouth open for any reason. If they get to hot well thats common but I would just leave it alone because its small.

I agree here. These are things that you should have bought either with the animal or BEFORE you bought it. You have no way of telling whether or not the heat and humidity are correct for the animal.

Do you even know what the PROPER temperature and humidity levels are for this animal?

Understand I am not "flaming" you here, but you need to understandf that you are responsible for that animals well being and so far you dont seem as though youve done any of the neccessary research.

I am not flaming at all, but the above two posts are correct. And you really should not handle a reptile as soon as you have, just give it time to settle in. The WD is stressed from the new environment, you are just contributing to that stress by handling him. Just relax and give him some space.

Hey Z trip just curious...how come we have never seen any pictures of your enclosures for your monster reptiles? Not trying to cause a fight but I am sure they are prime examples and maybe you should have some pictures on hand.

If im not mistaken.u were asked to show enclosures,we are pretty sure u have the reptiles.thanks;)

I dont think you are in any position to call out anyone. ;)

The ?'s you ask are things that should have been taken care of BEFORE the animal in question came home. And then when you are given an honest response you call out another member. We all make mistakes but doing a LITTLE research BEFORE bringing home an animal isnt that much to ask.

Im sorry if you take offense to these replies but you need to hear them. I USUALLY dont care for the way Ztrip applies himself on the forum with his "sarcastic way" but this time he is right on the money.

I for one would also like to see a pic of your entire Dragon set-up. Thanks!
