becareful of the abcess on your wd(water dragon) an abcess is an bacteria infection or stress related. i suggest trying to get him some meds so it would clear up.

Even if he isnt already 100% GOOD JOB:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:thumbsup::thumbsup: Im shure he is sooo relieved by being heated and fed properly:D I also must say this is one of my favorite lizards and as soon as I finish my herp room remodelations Im going to strat looking for some;) That absess may need vet atencion but if you havent did that already give him liquid vitamins that will help get him on healing. That respiratory infection is what really worries me:( It can kill within hours lizards of that size. Vet trip really important.

way to pick him up, good job... Whats the set up your keeping him in now like?

you should pic up some liquid calcium, if you think he has even a little bit of MBD starting. catch it in the early stages before it gets to bad..

and i know its been stated before but good job taking him in and caring for you. the herp world needs more people like you.

keep those pics coming.. also can you give us some tank shots?

i'll get those setup pics a bit later, it's just a 10g with some branches and a couple fake plants.

i've treated abscesses and RI's successfully in many other recued lizards before, but like i said in the original post..if i can't help or see no signs of him getting better he'll definitely see a vet. im not 100% sure he even has an RI...he doesn't show any of the usual symptoms other than gaping and that could be because his nostrils are crusted and scabbed over, or his lower jaw is irritating him. i have baytril ready to go just in case.

wow hes a cutie good luck with him
