Didn't seem like a joke...Seemed like you completely missed my joke, and are trying to make me look like an idiot.

Nah, which is why i strategically placed the (ha ha ha ha) and the smiley in there.

Or maybe I'm just pissed b/c I'm also playing Halo 3 atm, and keep getting crap teammates.

Its only a video game, you might get a more talented team later.;)

On the second comment, not the first one ;)

LIES! How can you say saving the universe from invading Aliens is "just a game"?

I mean, cough cough.

Yea, I wouldn't mix those lizards either...

what is smart mixing?

I've never heard of or seen any problems mixing, say, similar-sized emydids, or gray and green treefrogs. Mixing these species is no more risky than keeping multiple conspecifics together.

Well, like you said, those three lizards are practically a biotope...:D

If you mean from the same continent, then yeah but the beardie and ackie are from arid regions and the water dragon from humid tropical areas.

If that was considered a biotope and someone was to use native US species then that means you can keep Northern Coal Skinks, Green Anoles, and Texas Banded Geckos together. :grinno:

all i know is that is better then the average "herper's" enclosure.

Sounds like a great tank, Vicious. I think I'll set one up, with a couple of Wood Frogs and Torrent Salamanders for good measure. Then I'll start a thread titled "Vicious Fish's Great Suggestion". :p

I was kidding, of course. I just think it's funny how broad some folks' definition of 'biotope' is (moreso with fish than herps).

Valid point Seth, hes taking two fossorial species and mixing it with a semi aquatic lizard. Ackies by no means are nimble swimmers. Bearded Dragons are like terrestrial puffers when theyre placed in water. I didnt see a large water basin for the aussie h20. If any of the agamas were to lay eggs, the ackie would predate on them right away. So it just doesnt make sense.

The frog example is a tad different these are all lizards that get 2 foot or so long and the enclosure just doesnt have enough mix of what each individual species need is.
