WATER EVAPORATION

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you have a 600 gal, a 180 gal, and a 100 gallon sump; totaling 880 gallons of water. you are losing about 35-40 gallons of water to evaporation per day...

definately not a leak, you'd notice that much water on your floor. It would be destroying your house.

I don't think that losing 35-40 gallons of water out of 880 is so unreasonable. its less than 5%. especially in the hot, dry SOCAL desert summer. air conditioner (if you are using one) removes even more humidity from the air. adding a humidifier to the room may help reduce evaporation.
