Water is full of bubbles.

since you have a overflow, I'm guessing this is the same thing. The guy in the video found it was bubbles from the overflow falling into the wet/dry were getting sucked back into the return pump. So yeah, I'd go with air in the filtration at some point like Aquafreak said.

That's exactly what the bubbles look like. I'm moving around a few pipes to see if I can get the return pump further away from the water that falls into the wet/dry.
 
Highback, Im having the same issue with my 240...I know its an issue with the sump but havent been able to t/s yet, but I know the return pump isnt taking any air in. Let us know what you find.
 
l have this problem every winter. they are micro bubbles. your source water is colder and creates these bubbles. when filling the tank, try letting the flow hit the side of the tank. it should help a little. the bubbles will disappear after a few hours.
