i cant seem to get my water in my 100 gal clear, i do water changes once a week, and i recently installed a timer for my lights as to no run them too long, the ph is a little low , 6.5 and nitrates/ites are low just above 0 and i dont have a problem with amonia, im currently running a filstar canistr filter plus an under gravel filter with 2 powerheads, because if the fish i have to keep limestones to keep the ph up, without it the ph drops, any ideas what im doing wrong or any way to clear up the water??

Which filstar canister do you use? Are you changing 20% a week? 30%? What's your stock and how much are you feeding?

i do about 15 percent a week, im running a rena filstar XP3, i have a 6'' oscar 10'' JD and a 5'' Green Severum, and a Rhino Pleco, i feed them, 4 cubes of frozen bloodworms once a day, and maybe once a week some feeders

Try a 40 / 50% water change per week & feed him/ her every other day, after all Oscars are messy feeders!!! better to under feed than overload your filter!!!

I run a 80 gal tank & have had Oscars, Green Terror, Silver Dollars & even a spotted Gar all at the same time, but I have learnt from a expert which lives next door! All that live food per day seems a lot for your filter!!!

I would say so, I have moved to a planted tank, but still make 10% daily water changes! I had 6 large Silver dollars with a Green Terror & 2 Large Clown Loach & they were messy buggers, But i managed to keep on top of things & my water remained clear & clear of deadly toxins!! But hey thats my way & I am just trying to help..... try it, it may work
