For about a year now and have gradually become more relaxed with their routine as they have proved to be the hardiest loaches i have ever kept. I am a complete loach novice. I love modesta but cannot keep them alive no matter what i do. I impulse bought one of these royals and fell in love with it so i coughed up the money and acquired 2 more. They have been doing really well in this tank for about 14 months all together. Until now. It at first started as white patches on their skin and yesterday i noticed one of them with the huge open wounds in the picture. I thought it was over for him the wounds are enormous. They had some white fuzzy patches on them at first but i immediately did a huge water change and added a bit of salt to the water. I have noticed the white patches once before about 3 months after getting the original one but it went away not long after noticing it. They hide a lot so i dont always see them. I dont want to lose these guys any advice?
