water still not crystal clear help

are we talking floaties or cloudy? cloudy suggests bacteria bloom from a tank not fully cycled or put into a minie cycle. what are your water perams? ammonia,nitrite, nitrate.

Ok well just got back from local aquatic shop with polishing pads and filter floss daft question do I place the polishing pad in the bottom tray on the fx 5 as it says on the box or tge top tray as ive read other places?
 
Well what a difference the new filter floss, polishing pad and vecton 600 uv has made tank now looks awesome and clear as crystal!

I have been advised to run the vecton uv for 3 hours a day would you guys think this is about right?
