WATER STILL TURNS GREEN AFTER CHANGING THE WATER?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If the algae is there, and you do water changes all you're going to do is renew the supply of nutrients for it to thrive off of. If it is going to stay near the window I would invest in a UV sterilizer. You could also cover the window/parts of tank facing window and do a complete tank blackout for a week.

wait, so you got rid of your green water in 20 minutes with a penguin 350??

naw, sorry.. i get rid of the green water with the penguin for 3 days now, jux thought that i post this up since i didn't do it when i started noticing the green water.. the tank is still next to the window but the water is clear as a beautiful sunny day thanx to the new filter. no more green water..

oh ok! i was like damn these little penguins really work! lol
