Hi All

I want to extend my water storage capaciti from 35gallons to 100gallons.
My idea is to connect 3 containers with PVC pipe using items from hardware store (no bulkheads).

Question: what is the best way to connect PVC pipe with rubbermaid container?
(glue?silicone?rubber washers?some fittings, connectors?)

Maybe there is the better method connecting them?

I am open to any suggestions, any help is appreciated.

I was thinking about syphon, but I would like to stick to hard pipe idea.
It has to be some way to seal it. This think will be in my crawl space, and I don't want to get in there every week to check the syphon working properly.

Thanks anyway.

Uniseals or whatever said mfgr is calling them, are what you are looking for I believe

MFK vendor BWI Plumbing carries them, but seem to be out of stock at the moment.

Thank You
I will definitely try that if other ideas fail.
I have lots of PVC stuff in the garage from previous house owner that I want to use in this project.

I tried something very similar to your idea once to plumb in a check valve for cycling live rock. It failed miserably. I had to use a nut on the inside and load everything with epoxy. The problem is the flat to round mating surface. It held water but I never trusted it after that, always looked like it was going to give when I was not home.
