I've always kept my Cichla @ 83 -86, just be sure to have a lot of aeration going on in the tank.

thx..i was just curious becuz my cuzin who has pbass keeps her pbass at 89..i got myne at 82 with two spongefilters with airstones and a circulator..

im looking into getting a peacock bass. what size tank? Ive been reading all different sizes. i've read as low as 55 gal , low as 125 gal. so what is it? I have a 90 gal and my largemouth bass will grow out of there tank so i would like to have another fish in mind. And i love the way they look.
