well i went to the lfs and done the test the reading were only very small amount of nitrate, so all is good, now i just have to get some more mechanical filtration, any suggestions i would prefer a canister.
when you're using your test kit, the api test kits require you to add drops from nitrate bottle #1 AND add drops from bottle #2 also. did you do this? or did you use only the #1 bottle and think bottle #2 was extra? when i first started, that's what i thought and reread the instructions to see i was wrong. a few of the tests require use of more than 1 bottle.
