This was answered in the other thread.

Nitrates should be below 20 ppm. So, if you had a reading of 200 ppm and did a 20% water change down to 160, then you aren't done. Nitrates at that level have accumulated from weeks of inadequate water changes so they will need larger and more frequent water changes.

And nitrites of 3.0, (and I'm assuming you have very high ammonia levels) need to be reduced. Again, from the other thread, you are over feeding the fish. Reduce the amount of food by 50-75% ASAP until those readings are zero. Especially since your pH is likely to skyrocket after the water changes.

Nitrate 160
Nitrate 3.0
Total hardness 75
Clorine 0
Alkalinity 120
PH 6.2

I assume that second nitrate is meant to be nitrite? You shouldn't be seeing any nitrite if your tank has been cycled for a year unless you've had a big spike in bioload or something has killed off your bacteria. I bet you have ammonia too.

Either way, looks like you need to do some big water changes to get those numbers down.

Ok so tomorrow I’m getting a 100 G tank wat should I do first? They in a 50 G Right now

Hello; This!!
Again, from the other thread, you are over feeding the fish
Hello; This also!!

They in a 50 G Right now
Hello; I followed the other thread and missed that the tank is a 50 gallon. I thought it was a 6 inch fish in a 120 gallon?? Do you have more than one tank with high nitrates?

But I don’t wanna do another water change
Hello; Interesting. In the end we each get to run our tanks any way we wish. Don't do the WC if that is what suits you. Even tho there are very good reasons having to do with the health of the fish for WC right now, it is up to you.

To be more clear I have suspected you of shining us on for a while based on your other thread about tank water. Your posts in that thread indicated overfeeding that leads to high nitrates, yet you seemed reluctant to consider my suggestions and the suggestions of others. Run your tanks any way you want, but expect poor water conditions using your current practices.
By the way doing a WC for most of us is a chore. I would like to not have to do them but they are necessary. There have been a few MFK members posting they like to do a WC, but not many.

Good luck anyway.
