yeah ick sucks.. just watch what you feed them and add salt.. i keep my temp in my tanks at 78-79.. the only ick i had was my oscars from feeders..

is the tank well established. if not you can transfer gravel or a filter from the other tank. or just the bio media.

yes sir .....the tank has been running for over a year. I have already breed a trio of African Peacock cichlids in it about 6 months ago

I think I will just add some BIO-spira or fritz zime #7 tomorrow. No place is open right now.... anything I can do until then?

well sounds like a waiting game to me... if it goes higher bad if it starts to lower good.. sorry thats all i got.

so what else can I do for it??

Howdy,

another big waterchange, 80% or so. Also, get bottled bacteria and add them, if possible tonight. It'll give them all night to get active and start working. Don't add them immediately after the water change, give the dechlorinator an hour to work fully.

Good luck!

Howdy,

Check the flow rates of both and calculate the time point when the tank will have been thru your filters once. That does not necessarily mean complete mixing of old and fresh water, but I think it's a good enough. I guess around 15 min would be fine.

Good advice...
